Withdrawal

When the configuration of the installation or the exploitation needs make it necessary, the VLH may be provided with a Lifting Structure device, enabling it to pivot upwards and reach a horizontal position above the upstream level.

This operation will have to be performed in dead water, with an upstream water column which does not exceed 1 m.

The lifting in the presence of a nominal upstream level can only be executed with VLHs having a reinforced structure.
